I’ve made soap for years, but still have problems sometimes. Two weeks ago I made a batch of cold process soap, using Patchouli Essential Oils, as my fragrance. I obviously used too much oil, because my soap is too soap. I can squash it between my fingers. My question is, can I recover this batch, by heating it back up, and adding more lye?
