Where to get natural colouring for soap making?
Sun, Dec 7, 2008
Hello,
Could you please advise on where in the UK one could get natural colouring agents for making soap?
Many thanks!
Your kitchen will have many different natural soap colorants in it right now.
Carrots, dill, beer, tea, honey, cinnamon, citrus peel, cocoa powder, turmeric, coffee, milk (cow, goat, coconut), oatmeal, parsley, paprika, tomato paste….
Here is a link to a page that shows how to use them:

Other ingredients include annato seeds, stinging nettles powder, comfrey leaf powder, rattanjot powder, clays, indigo root powder, alkanet powder….
This link has a list of UK soapmaking suppliers – each carries a different variety of these items.
